HEARING PROTECTION EARPLUGS AND CUSTOM EAR MOLDS

Are you a hunter, professional musician, concert-goer, or bike rider? Do you work in noisy environments such as airports, manufacturing facilities, or construction sites? Do you engage in noisy recreational hobbies or chores like snow blowing, grass mowing, or garage work?

Custom earplugs not only prevent hearing loss but also help alleviate tinnitus and address pitch perception issues.

Don’t underestimate the risk of permanent damage from working in noisy environments or engaging in noisy recreational activities. It’s crucial for everyone to wear hearing protectors if the workplace noise level exceeds 85 decibels.

Effective hearing protectors can reduce noise exposure levels by up to 30 dB, significantly reducing the risk of hearing loss when worn regularly and fitted properly.

Earbuds, headsets, and hearing aids are not substitutes for hearing protectors and should not be worn in situations where hearing protectors are required to safeguard against noise exposure.

You will have two appointments:

1. Taking an earmold impression

2. Fitting & Verification

• Instruction on inserting & removal
• Instruction on cleaning and maintenance

Just because the earplugs fit comfortably in the ear, that does not mean they actually perform according to the specification. Verification of the plugs is an important piece of what we do.

We will perform a pure tone test with your new earplugs in your ears and compare the result with your current audiogram to confirm NRR (Noise Reduction Rating).
